Pineapple & Orange in Yogurt

3 serving 

This refreshing fruit salad makes for a particularly sweet finish to a chinese-style dinner. If you like, serve with almond cookies.

  • 1 1/2 cups pineapple,
       diced (preferably fresh)
  • 1 orange, sectioned and seeded
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped or
       slivered almonds
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon anise extract

    If fresh pineapple is unavailable and you'd like to use canned, make sure it is unsweetened and drained. Combine all of the ingredients in a serving bowl and chill before serving
