Italian Spinach 

1 serving

 

  • 1/4 to 1/2 pound fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  •    salt
  •    fresh ground black pepper

Wash the spinach well and shake off the water. Heat the olive oil in a small skillet, add the garlic and saute for a few minutes without letting the garlic brown. Add the spinach, cover and simmer until leaves are wilted (tender). Season to taste with salt and pepper
