Acorn Squash
with Apples

2 servings

 

  • 1 acorn squash
  • 1/2 cup sliced apple
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon margarine or butter

Cut squash in half, remove seeds. Combine sliced apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Pack half the mixture into each squash half. Dot with margarine. Put squash into baking dish. Cover loosely with heavy-duty plastic wrap.

Cook, covered, on full power for 8 to 10 minutes, or until tender
