Low Fat Chicken Parmesan

4 servings

 

  • 1 to 1 1/4 pounds (4) skinless boneless chicken breast
  • 1 cup low fat marinara sauce
  •    olive oil spray
  • 6 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350°. Pull out that old rolling pen and lightly flatten the 4 chicken breasts. In a large skillet, spray the olive oil; add chicken and cook until brown on both sides (about 4-5 minutes each side).

While chicken is cooking, heat up the marinara sauce. Place cooked chicken in a baking dish; top each breast with the marinara sauce followed with the cheese. Bake 3 to 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
